December Goals

Hi Friends! Happy December! I can't believe it's already the last month of the year! 2015 has gone by so quickly. I've been busy planning away for everything coming my way in 2016, but I didn't want to overlook this last month of the year! I've set some goals for myself this month, and I wanted to share them with you!

1. Read At Least 30 Minutes a Day

When I first starting thinking about my goals for December, this was going to be an hour a day. However, with the holidays quickly approaching, a trip to Maryland next week, and working retail at Christmas time... I downgraded it to 30 minutes a day. It's a little more attainable, yet still making a good amount of time to snuggle up with a good book. I love reading, but if I don't make time for it in my day, it won't get done.

2. Be Kind

Seems simple right? I think we can all agree that unfortunately, it's not always simple. I want to show kindness to people this holiday season. Sadly, the holiday season brings out the worst in some people. Working in retail, I've already started to see some of the holiday grinches. A little kindness, warmth, and a smile can turn someone's day around, especially when they're not expecting it. If I can cheer up one person this holiday season, it's worth it.

3. 1,000 Blog Views

This may seem easy to some of you. In fact, some of you may get 1,000 views in one day. However, my blog doesn't quite reach that. In fact, it's way lower. My highest views in one month is over 1,200... but with the holidays and everyone being really busy... I don't expect very much traffic. Posting consistently and strong marketing is what really helps me draw in traffic, so I'm hoping that if I do those things, I'll be able to reach this goal!

Well, that's all for me folks! I have some other goals for the month, but most of them are written down in to-do lists at the moment and have a lot to do with planning my wedding that is only 6 MONTHS! Anyway...

What are your goals for this month? I'd love to hear about them!
