DISNEY!

Who doesn't love Disney? Seriously. It doesn't matter how old you are, Disney movies are for everyone. I loved them when I was a kid and I love them now. I'm that person in line with a bunch of parents and their 4 year olds at the movies. Don't judge, you know that's you too.

I wanted to write a post and let you all in on what my top 5 Disney movies are! I hope you enjoy this list, and maybe some of my favorites are yours as well!

Honorable Mentions: Okay, so with a list of my top 5 Disney movies, I couldn't include all the amazing movies that have come out of the brilliant Disney studios. Therefore, I wanted to throw out some honorable mentions that didn't quite make my top 5 list, but are amazing and definitely deserve a shout out. These include but are not limited to: The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Lilo & Stitch, Bambi, Cinderella, Tarzan, and Mulan. Definitely Mulan. Side Note: I've never seen Hercules. Weird considering how much I love Greece, Greeks, and anything to do with it.

Anyway, onto the actual list!

5. Beauty & The Beast

Confession, I didn't see this movie until I was in my junior year of college, or at least I don't remember it if I saw it any sooner. I know, it was a crime. I should have been arrested. I have since fallen in love with it and it's creeped its way into my top 5!

4. Tangled

When this movie came out, I wasn't so sure if I liked it or not, but after watching it a few times and listening to the songs (I was a nanny, totally acceptable) it grew in my heart until I eventually fell for it! It's such a cute and heartwarming story. Plus, it's not like it's hard to listen to Zachary Levi sing. Am I right?

3. Aladdin

Everyone's favorite thief. Not only is Aladdin the most dreamy disney character um, ever, but the movie is so well thought out and heart warming. The music is genius, and Robin Williams is the voice of the genie and Steve from Full House voices Aladdin. Also, a whole new world. That is all.

2. The Lion King

Now, I can't believe myself that this has been bumped down to number two. Trust me when I say that it is a VERY CLOSE race between this one and my number one for the top spot. Anywho, Simba is still probably my favorite Disney character of all time even though this movie isn't my top. Who doesn't love Simba? There is so much wisdom in this movie, and the music, and I love Mufasa and Nala. Not to mention Timon and Pumba. Some of my most fond memories revolve around this movie and singing "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and "Hakuna Matata" at the top of my lungs with my best friends in college. I love The Lion King. A lot.

1. Frozen

I know what you're thinking... really Kaycie? You're one of those? Well, yes... I am. Ha. Frozen is just... well it's awesome. I don't know if it's Elsa's super woman empowerment theme, how much I am like Anna in real life, how down-right hysterical Olaf is, how adorable Sven & Kristoff are, how darn EVIL Hans is, how musically superior it is to every other Disney movie ever, or just the sheer brilliance of the film as a whole... but I am a Frozen lover indeed. In fact, I'm watching it as I write this. I don't know that I will ever get sick of it. Right after it came out, my friends were all dreading the first snow, because they knew exactly what I would be singing. I love it, a lot. I just do. I am not ashamed.

Those are my Top 5 Disney Movies! What about you? Are you another one of those people in line with all the kids when new Disney movies come out? What is your top 5? Let me know in the comments below! :)
