Travel Bucket List Top 5

Wanderlust: An intense desire to travel the world.

I have a bad case of wanderlust. There are literally so many places that I want to go in the world. So many cultures I want to experience, and so many new things to see and do. I'm so grateful to be marrying someone who shares my desire to see the world. I can't wait until we have enough money saved up to see some of the places that we want to see before we start a family and settle down.

Today I'm sharing with you the Top 5 Places on my Travel Bucket List! I'll count down from 5 to 1 of the places I am most itching to go in the world! I hope you enjoy!

5. Norway

Norway, Fjords, Mountains

Maybe it's just because I'm a little obsessed with Frozen, or maybe it's because it's just completely beautiful. Either way, I am dying to go see the beautiful mountains and fjords of Norway and learn some more about the Norwegian culture!

4. Greece (Islands & Athens)

Santorini, Greece, Islands, Greek Islands

I told you last week about how I think everyone should visit Thessaloniki on their trip to Greece, so I fully plan to return to that beautiful city one day. However, I really want to see the Greek Islands and Athens! There are so many cool things to do and see and I am so ready to dive deeper into the Greek Culture in another area of the country!

3. Italy

Postiano, Italy, Amalfi Coast, Italian Coast

Asa has been to Italy and I would love more than anything to return with him and see all the beautiful places that he got to see his first time around! Rome, Florence, Pompeii, Milan, Positano, Venice, etc... I want to see it all! Especially the Amalfi Coast. Goodness how beautiful. Not to mention the real, authentic Italian Cuisine. I am so excited for this trip to happen in the future!

2. Australia

Adelaide, Australia, Central Australia, Aussie

This has just recently got pushed back to my second place, it topped my list for a long time. Not to mention that I love Australian accents and kangaroos, but Australia is just gorgeous. I would love to go to Sydney and experience it and maybe go see Hillsong. I would love to go to Adelaide because Asa and I love that name for a girl. I want to see the Sunshine Coast because, hello beautiful. I want to see Tasmania because it's where my friends are from. I just want to go, I must go, I will go. That's all.

1. Iceland

Reykjavik, Iceland, Fjords, Icelandic, Northern Lights

Specifically Reykjavik... this is birthed from something a little deeper. The last time I flew to Greece, we flew overnight and we flew right over Reykjavik, Iceland so seeing the lights from the city was awesome, but it was a few minutes later that something even cooler happened. Everyone else around me on the plane was sleeping. I have a hard time sleeping on planes, so I was looking out the window and had the map up on my little screen so I could see where we were. I saw that we were over Iceland, and suddenly when I looked out the window, I could faintly see the Northern Lights since we were going in March, which is one of the best times to see them. It was the most surreal experience, and I have never felt closer to God than I did in that moment. Ever since then, I've had a burning passion and desire to go to Iceland, and it only grows stronger the longer that I don't go... so this will be the first place tackled on this list for sure.
